Having leaked online now two weeks ago (September 5), the 50 Cent and Skylar Grey collaboration, titled both as “I’m Warning You” as well as “Don’t Turn On Me” (and produced by Alex Da Kid), while still only available in unmixed form, has been getting positive feedback from the blogs and critics.

Check out a sample of what they’ve been saying below!

Don’t Turn on Me f. Skylar Grey | 2DopeBoyz ::
“….after giving it a few spins, I’m hoping it gets a proper mix and an official release as Fif has himself a dope record on his hands….”

50 Cent featuring Skylar Grey | HYPETRAK ::
“….the Skylar Grey-assisted song, dubbed “Don’t Turn on Me (Warning You), was recorded over a year ago in Detroit with Eminem, so said Curtis himself. Nonetheless, the Alex Da Kid-produced cut is a gritty affair, noting 50 spitting heat as the singer-songwriter then blesses on the hook….”

‘Warning You (Don’t Turn On Me’ | HipHop-N-More ::
“….you won’t be disappointed….”

50 Cent recruits Skylar Grey | MSN Entertainment ::
“….the Alex Da Kid produced track features songbird Skylar Grey and is as much triumphant as it is a blatant threat to the doubters….

Of course the cinematic beat that’s signature to Alex Da Kid’s production style only enhances the message of this song, and while this track is well over a year old it will probably be the single 50 Cent needs to dive right back into the mainstream….”

50 Cent & Skylar Grey’s “Warning You” | Idolator ::
“….an unfinished version of his Skylar Grey collaboration popped up online. “Warning You, which apparently was recorded a year ago, features a grinding, mid-tempo beat, with 50 reminding everyone he’s still hungry and warning folks not to turn on him….

After the song hit the Web, Fiddy responded on Twitter to clear up the credits (that’s Alex Da Kid on production) and he pointed out this version is unmixed. Regardless of that last tidbit, it’s a strong track…. Fif seems to be building a solid catalog of new material….”

New Music | stupidDOPE ::
“….the track is a dope, gritty number put together by Alex Da Kid, who definitely provided 50 and Skylar a nice home to show off their talents. Sleep not on this one….”

50 Cent ft. Skylar Grey | KillerBoomBox ::
“….looks like Mr. Jackson has returned to his first love…. He relives his come-up with some assistance from Skylar Grey….”

Audio | Oh! Dope ::
“….Alex Da Kid provides the instrumental and Skylar Grey on the vocals. Very dope….”

[New Audio] | iStandard Producers ::
“….sometimes it only takes one song to silence all of the doubters and nay-sayers….50 Cent is back with the motivational and inspiring Alex Da Kid produced single “Warning You“. Although I’m not always a fan of detuned synthesizers, Alex manages to compliment them perfectly with moving piano chords and Skylar Grey‘s vocals on the chorus, all of which ends in a stellar body of production….”

Feat. Skylar Grey | The Boombox ::
“….the song’s produced by Alex Da Kid and features Skylar Grey, and it’s exactly what you’d expect to hear from the Alex-Skylar tag-team; bruising drums, stadium-status synths and an anthemic hook from the Wisconsin crooner that’s brimming with emotion. Fiddy brings the goods, too, as he shrugs off murmurs that he’s washed up….”

Warning You (Don’t Turn On Me) | The Eargazm ::
“….Warning You features the always pleasurable pipes of Skylar Grey….”

“I’m Warning You” [LISTEN] | Hip-Hop Wired ::
“….songstress Skylar Grey also provides some assistance on the memorable chorus….”
