Skylar Grey to Perform at WrestleMania XXXI | Press Release ::
STAMFORD, Conn. – WWE today announced that Skylar Grey, Kid Ink and Travis Barker will take the stage at WrestleMania 31 on Sunday, March 29, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
A medley of the WrestleMania 31 theme songs – “Rise” by David Guetta, featuring Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Skylar Grey and “Money and the Power” by hip-hop artist Kid Ink – will be performed by Skylar Grey and Kid Ink, who will be joined by legendary drummer Travis Barker.
Grey has co-written countless hits for powerhouse artists including Eminem, Dr. Dre and Diddy. Most recently, she can be found on the best-selling Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack with “I Know You” and on the just-released Furious 7 soundtrack with “I Will Return.”
Kid Ink is a rising star in his own right. His most recent album, Full Speed, debuted in the top 10 and features collaborations with Usher and Chris Brown. Like Grey, he is also featured on the Furious 7 soundtrack with his song “Ride Out.”
Musician and producer Travis Barker is most noted as the drummer for the rock band Blink-182. He has also worked with The Black Eyed Peas, Pink and Pharrell Williams, among others.
This year, more than 70,000 fans from all 50 states and more than 40 countries will descend upon the San Francisco Bay Area for a weeklong lineup of festivities in celebration of WrestleMania 31.

Travis Barker to Perform w/ Skylar Grey x Kid Ink | Rolling Stone ::
“….Barker knew he’d be performing at WWE’s WrestleMania with Skylar Grey and Kid Ink for a while now….but he was never really clear what he’d be performing. Until this morning, that is.
“I just got the music that I’m playing!” he laughs. “Kid Ink and Skylar are both really great friends of mine, and about a month ago, Skylar was like ‘You know, I might be playing WrestleMania, would you play with me?’ and I was like ‘Of course.’ Then, like a week later, Ink hits me and he’s like ‘I’m playingWrestleMania, would you be down?’ and I’m like ‘I think I’m already going to be there!’ So I knew something was up.”
Turns out, on March 29, Barker will be providing the backbone to a performance that will meld David Guetta’s “Rise” – which, in addition to being this year’s WrestleMania theme song, also features vocals from Grey – with Ink’s “Money and the Power.“ And for a guy who’s built a career out of hard-hitting beats, not only does the collaboration make complete sense, but the stage is pretty perfect, too….
“Now, I have so many friends that love it, grown men, our kids – I’ve been to events where dudes are in their 30s or 40s, shouting ‘Kick his ass!’ It’s bigger than life, man,” he adds. “And when you take that, then add songs like ‘Money and the Power’ and ‘Rise’ to the mix, you take a situation that’s already turned up and make it wild.”
….he’s excited to share the bill with Grey and Ink, two artists he’s been close friends with for years.
“They’re both amazing talents, and good people, you know? Skylar’s so talented, she’s got the voice of an angel, and she’s willing to put in the work, you know?” he says….”
