Skylar Grey | AUDIENCE Music Concert Series ::
“….“This is such a great opportunity, I think especially for an artist like me, who’s going through a transition and a rebirth because it doesn’t necessarily click with just one song. So being able to show people a handful of songs at a time and really show them what you’re doing. It’s such a great opportunity to be able to do that,” Skylar Grey says on set while taping a concert for this season’s AT&T AUDIENCE Music Concert Series….

….as Grey points out, a show like this, which has included everyone from Imagine Dragons, Bebe Rexha and Sam Hunt to Dashboard Confessional, Ne-Yo and En Vogue this season, gives artists who might not otherwise be on TV a chance to be introduced to new audiences….

….Grey was actively involved in her set on this day. “Very rarely do I invest the time, energy and money into stage sets,” she says. “But I felt like it was very important because I am going through such a transformation I wanted to bring the audience into the new world that I’m in with not just the music, but also an aesthetic. So I chose these yellow flowers that are inspired by Napa, where I live now. I wanted to bring a little piece of home up onstage with me.”….”
