The National Ledger just ran a feature on Ms. Grey, which you can now find below! Also check out a feature article on by MyEveryzine by clicking the picture below the article.

National Ledger – “Mystery Girl Skylar Grey Wows GRAMMYs” ::
The Eminem and Dr. Dre collaboration and feature with Skylar Grey for the new single “I Need A Doctor” from Dre’s Detox album, was spectacular, and has everyone asking
– who is Skylar Grey?

MTV called it this way: “The epic “I Need A Doctor” was as expected a major spectacle as Skylar Grey’s wailing vocals and the dramatic shift in mood on stage was seamlessly pulled off and nearly erased all visuals and memory of Rihanna’s appearance with Slim Shady just moments before it. Fans on Twitter reacted in record number, and much of the responses named this performance the best of the night.”

Access Hollywood has an interview here.

“Why didn’t they ever show ….Skylar Grey’s…. face during my darling angel Eminem and Dre’s slot?!?!? It was very weird….especially as she is incredibly beautiful AND (more importantly) responsible for writing two of the most killer choruses in POP this last year or so. Talented AND gorgeous? Skylar Grey XXXVIII :: GRAMMYs Blog

Ms. Grey (who has been nominated for 2 GRAMMY awards) just debuted an official blog on It adds some detail to her recent past, including her first working with Alex Da Kid, writing “Love The Way You Lie”, and starting her career. You can read a preview of the blog below, and read the entire blog here.

Here’s a excerpt from the blog ::
“When I wrote the chorus to Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna, I was living alone in a cabin in the woods, with my home studio. I was taking a step away from the industry in an effort to nurture my muses, which had been seriously damaged. I certainly wasn’t attempting to write a hit song, but rather channeling what naturally came to me, with no expectations. It was the first time I had ever collaborated with Alex Da Kid, the song’s co-producer. Though I had never met him in person, musically we connected instantly over e-mail. The minute I found out Eminem was going to put it on his album my life became surreal. What a way to get sucked back into the industry. I was ready for it, though. After reflecting on the past and soul-searching in the woods, I realized I had grown into a completely different person. I was stronger than ever before and was prepared to deal with anything that was thrown at me without letting it compromise my creativity.”

Actress Pauley Perrette also tweeted a photo of herself in where the GRAMMY nominees will be sitting tomorrow, which includes where Ms. Grey will be seated.
